Meet my gorgeous cat! He could be a model, he loves the camera so much, and he actually poses when I am taking pictures. I swear he really does!! Remember when as a kid you would dip their stems in food colours and watch them turn whatever the food colour was? Did anyone else ever do that or is it just me? Anyway, I kinda don't like this pic so much, but I love these flowers. I took this picture last summer and then the neighbour's dog dug up the bush and mangled it. Pity. Ok, they are definately not called "prickly poppies" but that's been my name for them since I could speak. But what are they really called? I don't know. LOL, I'm no botanist I just like taking pictures :-)

I believe these are called Shepherd's needle. That's what my mom calls 'em. Anyway, they're really pretty but I think they're like weeds. I took this in my back yard. Maybe I'm no Linda Huber but I like it!
