Walker Airport Closed for Repairs
Authorities at the Civil Aviation Department in New Providence have closed Walker Cay International Airport due to runway repairs and Tuesday's aircraft accident on the island.
The accident, which occurred on Tuesday, June 1, was the 11th recorded incident involving light aircraft operation in the northern Bahamas, according to Supt. Basil Rahming.
