Time To Take A Closer Look?
A recent Bahama Journal editorial has brought attention to a BahamasB2B Commentary, posted in November, 2000, which reveals that a murderer was set free when incompetent prosecution failed to make an adequate case.
Ironically, it was Justice Anita Allen who aquitted the accused. And, more ironically, it was Murrio Ducille who acted as the defense attorney. Hmmm?!
Wasn't that the same pair who, just last week, were responsible for another accused murderer walking free when the policeman who was supposed to testify did not show up in court. In the latter case, no warrant was issued for the no-show officer due to fuzzy legal complications surrounding the officer's appearance.
But is that really true? Or, is there a relationship between Mr. Ducille and Justice Allen that begs for a closer look?
